[edit] Korean Empire Coat of Arms 대한제국 국휘
Hi Kerilka. I noticed that you've uploaded an image for the Coat of Arms of the Korean Empire. This might sound funny, but i actually have a different version which i found a long time ago. It features a gold eagle or phoenix with a taeguk symbol in the center holding a sword and an orb. i have not uploaded it to wikimedia since i can't remember where the original source was. i still have the image if you'd like to take a look at it? Mkhkoh 08:54, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry for being late. I've been digging around about that for several days, and found something here. There are some other images, probably from the same source, can be found in naver blogs. What I believe, is that I might confused the coat of arms of the royal family and state coat of arms, but I'm not sure because I couldn't find any further resources in the internet. Maybe there are something in offline, but I will get busy from now (my holidays have ended). So if you have some time, please take a look further. Thanks for the notice. [edit] SNU category
hi, you created a new category called Seoul National Univesity people. But the category Seoul National University alumni is already there. can you tell me the difference between the two? Janviermichelle 08:59, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
- hi. :) well my initial thought was to distinguish those who graduated from SNU and those who do not graduated from SNU but became a faculty members or got other relations with SNU. (e.g. Harry Ansted--the first president of SNU--can be a SNU people but he never graduated from the university) But lacking references and, most importantly, time to edit, it would take a time to me to do the job. --Kerilka 09:22, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Image source problem with Image:YonseiUniversityEmblem.png
Thanks for uploading Image:YonseiUniversityEmblem.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 21:07, 1 August 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Esrever 21:07, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
- Ooops, sorry! Now the soure page is given, I removed the tag that you added. :) --Kerilka 02:14, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:KoreaUniversityShield.png)
Thanks for uploading Image:KoreaUniversityShield.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 05:19, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
- Not orphan now. --Kerilka 07:13, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

- Please be careful when you modify contents. You just accidently (?) removed sveral pharagraph in Korea University thread. I apologize for removing old emblem. I didn't do on purpose. The old emblem was recovered —Preceding unsigned comment added by Patriotmissile (talk • contribs) 07:15, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Knue stork.png
Thanks for uploading Image:Knue stork.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 03:16, 1 October 2007 (UTC)
- Oops, sorry. Images for KNUE were uploaded when I was still not familiar with Wikipedia, so it lacked some necessary things. I just added fairuse rationales for those images and removed the tag. --Kerilka 03:53, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
