This is the most indepth article we have on an ER character... Now if the rest could catch up... Lachatdelarue (talk) 22:39, 26 July 2005 (UTC)

There are more things to Weaver than her sexuality, which is actually not the huge deal it's been made out to be in the media or this article - there is so much more to her, yes her sexuality is important, but it plays a very minor role compared to her other plotlines... --John24601 23:03, 21 January 2006 (UTC)

I basically quit watching this show around season 9 or 10. Although her character did evolve I think this makes her sound way more noble and heroic than she was for most of the series. In her early seasons especially she was something of a "dragon lady" who demanded unreasonably high standards from herself and others. She was also highly political and willing to betray people, sometimes rather severely, for what she felt was a greater good for the hospital.--T. Anthony 23:56, 7 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Widow?

Could she be considered a widow as her lesbian partner died (I forget which season)? Clamster5 23:35, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

They were never married as far as I know, not even in a private ceremony.--T. Anthony 23:24, 26 November 2006 (UTC)
Weaver does refer to sandy as her wife in the trauma room, if I remember correctly. However I still think that even though I'm a supporter of gay rights, widow may not be entirely the correct word.--John24601 05:44, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] year of birth?

On tonight's episode (2006-11-23), Weaver tells Pratt that she came to terms with her sexuality at age 30. Presumably that refers to season seven (2000-01), meaning she was born in 1970 give or take one year. --Mathew5000 06:59, 24 November 2006 (UTC)

Haven't seen the episode, but she will have graduated med school aged at least 26 won't she? Does that give her enough time to do her residency? She'd been an attending for 3 years at that point... --John24601 05:46, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
