  • The Taming of Tofu is published by "Pacific Pr Pub Assn" who seem to be very minor and possibly defunct.
  • Home Schooling: Answering Questions and Natural Home Schooling: A Parent-Teacher's Guidebook to Natural Learning in the Home are published by Charles C Thomas also a minor publisher
  • Bonnets and Aprons: Fionna is from BookSurge (see Slade)

First three are out of print. Prod seems appropriate. Pleclech 02:45, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

  • By what standards is a publisher deemed 'minor'? Charles C. Thomas has been in business since 1927 and publishes a wide range of academic books. While these books are not often distributed to the mass-market, their books, including Ms. Williamson's books on Home Schooling, can be found in academic and public libraries across the country. In addition, references to both Home Schooling books can be found in several articles and public school resource book lists.
  • The Taming of Tofu was published by Pacific PressĀ® Publishing Association: well-established and producing books for over a century.
  • I would like to open a more general discussion on the validity of authors who self-publish. Is successful self-publication less meritorious than traditionally published works that languish unsold in warehouses? By what criteria may we judge the merits of an author's inclusion in Wikipedia?
First three were produced by established publishers. Latest fictional work is too new to accurately judge without release of sales figures from the author. I would argue that the author has produced enough to warrant an entry in Wikipedia unless an appropriate merger can be suggested (article dealing with similar authors, etc.). actionscribe 07:10, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
