  • Macdonald Rock, about 10 km NNE of Macauley Island at 30°09' S, 177°22' W (submerged)

my comment: 10 km is not equal to a full degree, this is much more. at least 55 km up to 111 at the equator. --BLueFiSH 23:53, 25 Apr 2005 (UTC) comment is correct, position was wrong - Macdonald Rock put back with corrected position --User:Ratzer 19:48, 08 May 2005

The coordinates of Macdonald Rock currently shown in our article are 30°09′S 178°22′W. According to Chart NZ 2225, its position is roughly 30°11.3′S 178°25.5′W, and it lies about 4 km directly north of Macauley Island. I'll update the article accordingly. -- Avenue 13:42, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
