Kerry Meier is an American collegiate football player for the University of Kansas. Meier is a 6-3 dual threat quarterback for the Jayhawks and will be a redshirt sophomore in 2007-2008 season. Meier, who wears the jersey number 10, was the starting signal caller for coach Mark Mangino's Jayhawks in 2006. Meier was an all-state quarterback, kicker and punter for Pittsburg High School in Pittsburg, Kansas where he graduated in 2005. Meier has three older brothers all who played football. Shad Meier played for Kansas State University collegiately then spent six seasons in the National Football League. Dylan and Adam both played collegiately at Kansas State and Pittsburg State respectively. Kerry is a current slot receiver, back up punter and back up quarterback at the University of Kansas. Meier is son of Dennis and Valerie Meier who reside in Pittsburg, Kansas.
