Kerio Technologies is a software company in San Jose, CA developing Internet security software.
In 2001 Kerio Technologies was formed [1], and on 11 September 2001 Kerio Technologies was incorporated.
In February, 2002, Tiny Software transferred sales and development of its leading software to Kerio, where the developers would continue to work on the software under the Kerio brand. [2]

On February 8, 2002 Kerio Technologies released Kerio Personal Firewall 2.1 beta 3. [4] This was the first release since development moved from Tiny Software.
On February 15, 2002 Kerio Personal Firewall v2.1 beta 4 was released. [4]
On February 19, 2002 Kerio Personal Firewall v2.1 beta 5 was released. [4]
On March 10, 2002 Kerio Personal Firewall v2.1.0 was released. [4]
On March 13, 2002 Kerio Personal Firewall v2.1.1 was released. [4]
On March 19, 2002 Kerio Personal Firewall v2.1.2 was released. [4]
On March 27, 2002 Kerio Personal Firewall v2.1.3 was released. [4]
On April 15, 2002 Kerio Personal Firewall v2.1.4 was released. [4]

Kerio Personal Firewall v4 was released on November 11, 2003. [6]
On December 1, 2005 Kerio announced that Kerio Personal Firewall (v4) was to be acquired by Sunbelt Software [7], the acquisition was completed December 21, 2005[8] and soon after the product was renamed to Sunbelt Personal Firewall[9].
Kerio no longer supports the personal firewall and has since released its WinRoute v6 product as Kerio WinRoute Firewall v6.
As of 2007 support for Kerio Personal Firewall v2.1.5 can still be found at Kerio Forum, KerioPF FAQ and KerioPF 2.x "For Dummies" Guide, all on www.dslreports.com.
