Keri Jones attended university from 1989 to study law and worked for a number of radio stations throughout the 80's and 90's including Radio Medica, Viking FM, Fosseway Radio, Leicester Sound, Valleys Radio and various BBC Local Radio stations. In November 2001, the Radio Authority (now Ofcom) awarded Haven FM the first licence for Pembrokeshire. The station (renamed 102.5 Radio Pembrokeshire) launched on July 14, 2002 and was profitable even before launch due to the number of advertising clients. The RAJAR results have shown that Radio Pembrokeshire broke industry records by achieving the UK’s highest ratings for nine quarters in a row, consistently delivering around 40% market share.[1].
