Kerguelenella lateralis is a species of air-breathing sea snail, a marine pulmonate gastropod mollusk in the family Siphonariidae, the false limpets.

This species is endemic to the Straits of Magellan, Patagonia, the Falklands, South Georgia, Gough Island, Kerguelen Island, and Macquarie Island.
[edit] Shell description
The shell is narrowly ovate, parallel-sided except for the siphonal bulge on the right-hand side. It has a low profile, with the apex within the margin near the posterior left. The surface is smooth, except for subobsolete radials, covered by a light yellowish periostracum.
The external shell coloration is a dull light reddish-brown, with the interior darker brown over the central area.
The shell length is up to 16 mm, width 10.5 mm, and height 5.5 mm.
