Description

NASA Space Shuttle image of the southern part of the Kerguelen Islands, with Mont Ross at right. The Rallier du Baty Peninsula (lower left) forms the SW tip of Kerguelen Island. It contains two youthful subglacial eruptive centers, Mont St. Allouarn and Mont Henri Rallier du Baty. The Cook Glacier is at upper left. Top of image is north.
