Kepala Batas is a town in the northern part of Penang, Malaysia, in Seberang Perai Utara district. The Member of Parliament for Kepala Batas is the current Prime Minister of Malaysia, Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, as this is his hometown. In the recent general election held on 8 March 2008, Abdullah won the seat with a majority of 11,232 votes.
