[edit] Welcome
|
Ken, please read our policy on external links (WP:EL) when you get an opportunity. You seem to be adding large lists of external links that simply annotate commercial software. We would really like to have external links that build on the content of the article, if they are needed at all. Thanks, and please let me know if you have any questions! [edit] Request for edit summary
Hi there. When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.
Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field. If you are adding a section, please do not just keep the previous section's header in the Edit summary field - please fill in your new section's name instead. Thank you. – Oleg Alexandrov (talk) 04:07, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Copyright status of Project decision analysis
Please do not post copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder, as you did to Project decision analysis. For legal reasons, we will delete copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites (http://www.intaver.com/Articles/Article_ProjectDecisionAnalysis.pdf in this case) or from printed material.
If you believe that the article is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) then you should do one of the following:

- If you own the copyright to the material: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the GFDL, and note that you have done so on the article's talk page. Alternatively, you may create a note on your web page releasing the work under the GFDL and then leave a note at Talk:Project decision analysis with a link to the details.
Otherwise, you are encouraged to rewrite this article in your own original words to avoid any copyright infringement. Thank you. WebHamster 15:10, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Notability of RiskyProject
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on RiskyProject, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because RiskyProject seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting RiskyProject, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself.
