Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:MailChannels.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 03:03, 28 October 2007 (UTC)

I'm not sure what license to use, so I will try to pick this up next week when I have more time. Thanks! Ken.simpson.mailchannels 03:14, 28 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] October 2007

If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article MailChannels, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with,
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors,
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
    and you must always:
  4. avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially neutral point of view, verifiability, and autobiography.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Business' FAQ. For more details about what constitutes a conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Conflict of Interest. Thank you. Kesac 03:07, 28 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Conflict of Interest Comments

I have reviewed the Wikipedia conflict of interest guidelines. I have tried to represent the MailChannels article from a neutral point of view. It would be helpful if the community could point out any specific changes that could be made to the page to improve its neutrality.

[edit] AfD nomination of MailChannels

MailChannels, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that MailChannels satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/MailChannels and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of MailChannels during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. [edit] Your username

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!

I hope not to seem unfriendly or make you feel unwelcome, but I noticed your username, and I am concerned that it might not meet Wikipedia's username policy. After you look over that policy, could we discuss that concern here?

I'd appreciate learning your own views, for instance your reasons for wanting this particular name, and what alternative username you might accept that avoids raising this concern.

You have several options freely available to you:

Thank you.
