[edit] Chensney breaks foot on Poets & Pirates tour

Just returned from Williams-Brice Stadium. Chesney broke his foot during the first bars of his opening song. Chesney began talking into his microphone while rising up from below the stage on a hydraulic lift. But he was standing too close to the lip and the toes on his right foot got crushed. Chesney collapsed in pain and remained trapped until stagehands lowered the lift to free his foot. He refused medical treatment and continued the concert. He limped, winced, and often stopped to catch his breath throughout the show. Rob Rosenberger (talk) 06:16, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
