Talk:Kenneth Newman
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
[edit] POV
The section on Northern Ireland says that
"Newman was instrumental in transforming the RUC from a "poor cousin" of the British Army in the province, to a streamlined and effective, yet still impartial, police force".
That word "impartial" would be hotly contested by many Irish nationalists. Please can someone develop a more neutral account of Newman's role in the RUC? A good approach would be to describe what he did, rather than making value judgements. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 03:23, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
