IJN Warrant Officer Kenji Yanagiya passed away on February 29, 2008, at his age of 88.

IJN Warrant Officer Takeo Tanimizu passed away on March 12, 2008, at his age of 88.

Both were Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) Zero Fighter Ace pilots, Hiko Yoka Renshu Sei 'Yokaren' (Flight Reserve Trainee) of the class of 3rd. --Shun Zero (talk) 11:55, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
