It seems to me that the guardians of Wikipedia are somewhat hypocritical. "Private" sites like Pro Football Reference and Data Base Football, which "promote themselves" and have pop-ups and advertisement on their sites to make themselves money, are ok to be listed in every player's Infobox; yet my page on the Roster of All AFL Players is dismissed as "self promotion" even though I ask nothing of the reader, and the page offers information that is available at NO ONE PLACE anywhere else on the internet. Isn't it conceivable that a user who looks up "Bud Abell" or "Lance Alworth" would like to know where he can find a list of all AFL players in one place?

I have never been able to figure out how to make these "discussions" interactive, or to sign my name. If anyone has a comment on this opinion, they can reach me at RemembertheAFL@aol.com ~ Ange Coniglio
