The Kenyan African Mole Rat (Tachyoryctes ibeanus) is a species of rodent in the Spalacidae family. It is endemic to Kenya. Its natural habitats are dry savanna, moist savanna, arable land, pastureland, plantations , rural gardens, urban areas, and heavily degraded former forest.
