Kenny Sabir (alias Traksewt) is a Sydney-based Australian musician, computer programmer, record label founder and event organiser. Sabir is perhaps best known as a member and producer of prominent Australian hip-hop band The Herd where he performs under his alias Traksewt. Sabir was also a founder of the Australian independent record label Elefant Traks (on which the Herd appear) and a co-founder and former manager of the Sound Summit independent electronic record labels conference in Newcastle, New South Wales as part of the annual This Is Not Art Festival.
Sabir is also a computer programmer who developed the DASE - Distributed Audio Sequencer that allows musicians to jam in real time over the internet and was a contributor to the development of the Open Source OGRE Engine (Object-Oriented Graphics Rendering Engine). Sabir was also involved in the development and founding of the Free Play independent computer games developers conference.
