Kenneth Riches

Kenneth Riches (1908 - 1999) was an Anglican Bishop during the second half of the 20th Century. Educated at Colchester Royal Grammar School [1] and Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, he was ordained in 1933. His first post was at St Mary’s Portsea[2]., after which he became Chaplain at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge [3]. Following wartime service as a Chaplain to the Forces he was appointed Principal of Ripon College Cuddesdon. In 1952 he ascended to the Episcopate [4] as Bishop of Dorchester and was translated to Lincoln five years later[5].
