Kenneth Law

Kenneth Law is Associate Professor of violoncello at the Carroll McDaniel Petrie School of Music of Converse College, a liberal arts residential women's college in Spartanburg, South Carolina, USA. Kenneth has received undergraduate and graduate degrees in performance from the Eastman School of Music and Cleveland Institute of Music. He also served as a chamber music teaching assistant at the Juilliard School from 1994-96. He is also the main cello instructor for the Palmetto Center for the Arts at Richland Northeast High School in Columbia, South Carolina. As a performing musician, Mr. Law is currently cellist in the Converse Trio (in residence at Converse College), the principal cellist of the Greater Spartanburg Philharmonic, a member of the Phoenix Players and Ritz Chamber Players, and director of the Palmetto Cello Choir. Kenneth Law also maintains a small pre-college studio, teaching cello and coaching chamber music to Elementary, Middle, and High School students.
