Kenneth Jonassen (born July 3, 1974 in Herning) is a male badminton player from Denmark, who formerly had the fastest smash record in the singles competition, with a 298 km/h (185 mph) shot[3]. This record was broken by Taufik Hidayat.
He played badminton at the 2004 Summer Olympics in men's singles, losing in the round of 32 to Chen Hong of China.
Kenneth was the losing finalist in the Aviva Open Singapore 2006, losing 21-14, 21-10 to compatriot Peter Gade, after having won that tournament in 2004.
He won the gold medal at the 2008 European Badminton Championships[4].
