Kenneth Forbes

Kenneth K. Forbes (July 4, 1892 – 1980) was a Canadian landscape and portrait painter.
Born in Toronto, Ontario, he enlisted in 1914 and served during World War I with the 10th Royal Fusiliers as a Captain. He was a war artist and served in the Canadian Army until 1959.
In 1967, he was made an Officer of the Order of Canada "for his contributions to the arts as a landscape and portrait painter". [1]
He is best known for his painting entitled Canadian Artillery in action on display at the Canadian War Museum.
