Kenneth G. Chase was the Republican nominee to face Senator Ted Kennedy in the Massachusetts 2006 Senate election. Chase defeated Kevin Scott 51%-49%, in the Republican primary on September 19, 2006.[1] He lost the general election campaign to Kennedy. According to CNN few people in Massachusetts realized Kennedy was running for reelection, yet Chase did receive over 30% of the vote.

Chase also ran in 2004 against Congressman Ed Markey for the 7th district seat. He received 21% of the vote.
