Kenneth Alfred Biggs

Major Kenneth Alfred Biggs of the Royal Army Ordnance Corps was awarded the George Cross for gallantry in his actions in rescuing people from an ammunition train on the 2 January 1946 in Savernake Forest, Wiltshire.[1]
He was born on 26 February 1911 in Greenway, Totteridge in Hertfordshire. His award was announced in The London Gazette of 8 October 1946, with the citation dated 11 October 1946:[2]
