Kenmore High offers a broad curriculum, catering to students with all kinds of academic passions and pursuits as well as a range of Vocational Education Subjects but sometimes the students end up being total complete failures. the school has been criticised for its wide range of drug users snd abusers.

The school offers high quality education in Science, Graphic Design & Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Mathematics, Humanities and IT Programs, Kenmore High also has a high reputation in the community for its music and arts focuses.[citation needed]

Kenmore offers many community service opportunities, the most notable of which is the Kenmore State High School Leos Club. There is an Amnesty International student group that operates from the high school and many students also participate annually in the Clean Up Australia Day, "Emu Parade".
