Kendrick Amplifiers and Guitars
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Kendrick Amplifiers and Guitars is a Texas-based company that started in 1989 near Austin, Texas. They were the first to build a re-issue, vintage vacuum tube type amplifier. Their 2410 amp was a recreation of the fabled Fender 5F6A Tweed Bassman. They were also the first to introduce a re-issue, vintage-style speaker in 1989.
In 1994, Kendrick began building and selling guitars. Their luthier, Tony Nobles, is world-renowned[citation needed], and has built a guitar for the Smithsonian "Guitars of Texas" exhibit.
