Kendall Ciesemier

Kendall Ciesemier is a student at Wheaton North High School. In 2004, after watching a special of The Oprah Winfrey Show about the AIDS epidemic in Africa, she founded Kids Caring 4 Kids[1]. In May 2007, she was named one of America's top ten youth volunteers by Prudential and the National Association of Secondary School Principals[2].

On August 31, 2007, Ciesemier was surprised with a visit from President Bill Clinton in an assembly at Wheaton North in recognition of her service. The two of them then went to appear on The Oprah Winfrey Show. The show featuring Ciesemier aired September 4, 2007[3].
