Ken Larsen

Ken Larsen (b. March 20, 1942) was the Personal Choice Party candidate for governor of Utah in 2004. He is a medical researcher in Salt Lake City and has a Ph.D. in Zoology from Brigham Young University. Larsen was a key player in the forming of the The Personal Choice Party in approximately 1997,

Prior to forming the Personal Choice Party, Ken Larsen was well known as a political activist and frequent candidate for numerous political offices in Utah under the ballot lines of several minor parties including the Libertarian Party and the Reform Party.

Larsen was expelled from the Libertarian Party of Utah for cause by unanimous vote of the state convention in 1993.

Ken Larsen has run for office 11 times in Utah since 1972. [1]
