Ken L. Carter is the current mayor of Greensburg, Louisiana. He was hailed as a "hero" during Hurricane Katrina. His leadership and organization led to what many believe was the best run city or town during Hurricane Katrina. Carte is not running again and will retire after the completion of this term.
