- ^ An opponent's name in (parentheses) indicates that the opponent was ineligible to compete in Final Jeopardy! To be eligible for Final Jeopardy!, the contestant must have a positive score at the end of Double Jeopardy!
- ^ Broke record for highest overall winnings ever won on Jeopardy!, including special tournaments.
- ^ Largest Jeopardy! one-day winning total.
- ^ a b c d e Italicized episode numbers indicate games in which Ken was not a player.
- ^ a b c d Because of Election Day pre-emptions, CBS, which syndicates the show through its King World subsidiary, re-arranged the episodes which had been taped to air during the week of November 1, 2004. Many Jeopardy! affiliates air a Classic game from the past on weekends, but CBS announced the shows that were to air November 2 to November 5 would be pushed back a day, and made the weekend airing an original game. Markets without the Classic game were asked to specially reserve a weekend time slot for the special airing.
- ^ Broke record of total winnings on a game show.
- ^ Although Jennings's total for the day was $8,799, the second-place consolation prize is $2,000, regardless of the player's actual total for that game.
