[edit] Character biography

Ken is Dermot's brother and Geraldine's ex-husband. When he was married to Geraldine, they had a son, Owen. Since Ken was infatuated with other women, Geraldine eventually dumped him for good and began a relationship with Mike. Mike despises Ken, as he constantly turns up to talk and has set up a restaurant, Fusion, to rival the Bistro. When Barry O'Hanlon published an article on the rape in the local newspaper, Dominic informed him that his daughter was the girl who was raped.

Ken Fahey, having read the article, realised that he was in the same area where the attack took place. Ken apologized to Kylie for not being there to protect her, but Dominic believed that this was an admission of guilt and confronted Ken. When Ken refused to reveal the source of his information, Dominic thought that waiting for the Gardaí to catch the rapist is not something he enjoys, so he decided to take matters into his own hands again. When Ken was attempting to return a mobile phone to a girl in an alleyway, the girl thought that he was going to attack her and ran away. Dominic wrongly assumed that Ken was the rapist and beat him up. With Ken unconscious, Dominic made an anonymous call to the Gardaí and told them that the rapist is in the alleyway.

Ken woke up in hospital and told the Gardaí that he was inocient. The Gardaí realised that there was now a rapist and a vigilante on the loose. Ken is the latest victim to fall at the hands of Dominic, who believed that Ken is the rapist. After recovering in hospital, Ken suggested to Mike that he employ a chef named Maurice. When the identity of the rapist was revealed to be Tibbs, Dominic admitted to Ken that he assaulted to him.

He is currently in a relationship with Deirdre Burke, who is pregnant with their child. She told him that she gave her son up for adoption when she actually gave him to his brother and sister-in-law, Dermot and Jo.
