The model was made by scientists Jim Chatters and Thomas McClelland, who most likely own the copyright. [4]

There is no free alternative, and neither could one be created showing the same information. It is a small picture of low resolution and does not replace the original market role the picture may or may have has or had. The material has been published in many news articles covering the subject, and is encyclopedic meeting Wikipedia content guidelines. It meets the media-specific requirements and is used in one article. It shows the subject to better explain it in its respective article. The picture is (and should remain) only used in its namespace (Kennewick Man). ~~it shows proper attribution to Stanford University.~~
