Kelvin Wylie

Kelvin Wylie, aka "Hometown Kid", is an American streetball player from Rock Hill, South Carolina. He is best known for his appearances in the AND1 Mixtape Tour, which airs on ESPN. In the 2006 season, Wylie competed as one of the "Showtime Contract Players". Wylie is 6-foot 5-inches tall and plays the Forward position. During his college basketball career, Wylie played for Division II Gardner-Webb University, where as a junior during the 1999-2000 season, was second in the nation in field goal percentage at 65.3%. In 2000, Wylie transferred to Western Carolina University, but was ineligible to play until the 2001-2002 season due to NCAA transfer rules and could only practice. After college, Wylie went on to play for Trigueros of the Mexican CIBACOPA League. In 2005 Wylie was named CIBACOPA Center of the Year, leading Trigueros to the CIBACOPA finals, where they lost to Nogales 4 games to 2.
