Kelman Ltd. is a UK registed company with its headquarters in Lisburn, Northern Ireland. Kelman was formed in 1994.

Kelman was initially focused on the electrical distribution industry. During the first years of operation Kelman developed a number of award winning products, including a low voltage autorecloser, a circuit breaker analyser and fault location equipment.

In 2002 Kelman became involved in the railway sector and launched SIGNET, an automatic reconfiguration system for the power supplied to the rail signalling network. This product continues to be an integral part of the modernisation of the UK rail network.

Early in 2003 Kelman moved into the area of Dissolved Gas Analysis (DGA), which is the essential test for condition monitoring of electrical transformers. With cutting edge technology Kelman has helped to revolutionize DGA practice with the release of both portable and on-line DGA equipment. These products are now being used successfully by many of the world's largest utilities.
