Possessing a powerful multi-faceted voice, a vast range and an undeniable emotional intensity Kelly Sundown is a fast rising newcomer on the metal landscape.
His first international release was the highly acclaimed Beyond Twilight- “Section X” (Massacre Records 2005) replacing vocal great Jorn Lande -(Ark, Masterplan).
Section X went on to receive rave reviews from metal fans and critics alike. Kelly’s dark, dramatic and vocally schizophrenic performance here gained him great praise and a place among the top vocalists in metal today.
Shortly thereafter Kelly’s American based band Outworld(Replica Records 2006) released it’s debut album to great reviews. In a performance often described as inhuman Kelly’s voice aggressively rips and tears it’s way through the churning technical guitar work of shredder Rusty Cooley painting a bleak picture of Orwellian dystopia.
In a very short time Kelly Sundown has been recognized by of some of the most influential musicians and composers in the rock, progressive and metal genre’s and it’s safe to say that the man’s future is bright.
