Kelly McCarty

Kelly McCarty (born August 24, 1975 in Chicago, U.S.A.), is a naturalized Russian professional basketball player, originally from the United States. He currently plays for Khimki BC of the Russian Super League. He is a great scorer and also an effective rebounder.
The 2.00m. small forward was a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi and went to play with the Denver Nuggets in 1999. In Europe he played, at first, for Maccabi Ness from Israel. He, then, signed to Hapoel Jerusalem B.C. and won with them the ULEB Cup of 2003-2004, being voted the Final MVP. Next year, in 2004-2005 he moved to Dynamo Saint Petersburg and, without losing in EuroCup competition even a single game, his team won the EuroCup and he was elected the Final Four MVP.
