Kelly Dransfeldt

Kelly Dransfeldt is a retired Major League Baseball player. He was born April 16, 1975 in Joliet, Illinois and is a graduate of Morris Community High School in Morris, Illinois where as an excellent short stop and infielder he was a star on their baseball team. He attended the University of Michigan. Drafted by the Texas Rangers in the 4th round of the 1996 amateur draft,. He made his Major League debut on May 1, 1999 for the Texas Rangers. He hit .189 his rookie year, and enjoyed his best batting average of .333 during his final year of professional ball. Dransfeldt played for both the Texas Rangers and Chicago White Sox over the course of his 4 year career. After being granted free agency in 2004 Kelly retired from Major League Baseball and focused on his other passion...the business world. He currently works as a stock portfolio advisor. He also currently gives in depth market reports on local radio in Morris, IL daily as a locally based stock market expert.
