Kelly Cutrone

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Kelly Cutrone (born 1967) is a fashion entrepreneur, founder of the public relations, branding and marketing firm People's Revolution.[1]

Her agency has produced shows for artists like Alexandre Herchcovitch, Rachel Comey, As Four, Jeremy Scott, Pat Fields, Rachel Comey, Atil Kutoglu, Marisa Ribisi, Alvin Valley, Jennifer Nicholson, Nicky Hilton, Paco Rabanne and Vivienne Westwood.[2]

On September 11, 2002 her agency broke a record for most shows produced on one day during New York Fashion Week — five shows in one day — mainly because she was the only one willing to produce shows during that day, the first anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks.[2]

At 21 she married Andy Warhol’s protégé, Ronny Cutrone. [2] She has one daughter named Ava.

Cutrone has appeared on two of MTV's reality shows, once on True Life: I'm Going to Fashion Week, because her assistant was being followed for the segment, and several times on The Hills, once during the 2006 season and regularly during the 2008 season because Hills star Whitney Port is allegedly doing an internship at People's Revolution. It has been implied on the show that Lauren Conrad might also be doing an internship on the agency, even though Cutrone has stated that she wouldn't hire her after working with her during the 2006 Los Angeles Fashion Week.[3][4][5][6]
