[edit] Speedy deletion of Poloc Cricket Club

A tag has been placed on Poloc Cricket Club, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per speedy deletion criterion G11.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Hi please can you try to wikify the article a bit and added some references and assert the notability a bit thankyou ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Talk"? 19:45, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

Much better. What you have to understand amigo is that as an encyclopedia which we are trying to build of the highest possible standard if pages aren't sourced and appear to be written on something not worthy or is based on original research then they ar elikely to be regarded as spam or deleted. We are trying to ensure that all pages are of an accpetable standard to improve peoples accpetance of wikipedia as a major online source. Now that club for me is no different to the hundreds of articles on small time American sports clubs and the only fault was a lack of style and "wikification" and referencing. Perhaps you have some images of it you would like to take -but note they have to be your own and not from a website ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Talk"? 20:56, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

I could see your good intentions at writing so saved you. If you are new you'll soon learn the ropes in becoming a good editor. Note also categorization of articles is important. Try to keep references as professional as possible - quoting an 11 year old girl is perhaps not the way to go. Keeo up the good work and I hope you enjoying editing here. All the best ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Talk"? 20:59, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

Perhaps who could try an article on the Scottish National Cricket League? ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Talk"? 21:04, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

Yes I put the image there as I said temporarily until we can get some images of the actual club. PLease upload any images you have as soon as possible to illustrate the page. Nice work keep it up! ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ "Talk"? 21:24, 4 November 2007 (UTC)
