Keith William Southern (born 24 April 1981 in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear) is an English professional footballer who plays in midfield for Blackpool. He joined the Seasiders in 2002 from Everton after initially spending two months there on loan. His nickname, "Gnashers", is due to his rather prominent teeth.
On April 21, 2007, Southern scored the winning goal as Blackpool beat Cheltenham Town to guarantee his club at least a play-off position.[1]
