Keith Austin Murray (born May 10, 1977) is lead vocalist/guitarist of the indie rock band We Are Scientists, with Chris Cain (bass).
We Are Scientists rose to fame when they were noticed by NME magazine and were asked to join Mystery Jets, Maxïmo Park, and Arctic Monkeys on the NME awards tour 2006.
Keith reportedly clashes with Editors singer Tom Smith. However Keith states this is false and they band are like "a married couple".
During the NME tour, the group developed a working relationship with the Arctic Monkeys, and toured together later that year.
He was also nominated for World's Sexiest Vegetarian 2007, losing out to Davey Havok of AFI.[1].
Keith is always seen playing a white-blond Fender Telecaster.
[edit] Education
He attended Cooper City High School (Class of 1995) in Florida, [2] and graduated from Pomona College in 1999 with a degree in English Literature (or "reading," as Chris Cain has jocularly called it).
