Keith Mohan
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Keith Mohan (born June 11, 1935) was an English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and leg-break bowler who played for Derbyshire in the County Championship for two seasons.
Having represented Derbyshire in the Minor Counties Championship since 1955, Mohan made his debut first-class appearance in the impressive 1957 season, which saw the team finish in fourth position in the County Championship. However, during the next season he struggled, hitting an average of less than ten runs and finding himself unused as a googly-specialist bowler. He was ejected from the team at the end of 1958, just a season after his debut, despite proving himself a solid batsman on his home ground.
Mohan remained a middle-order batsman throughout his time in the first team. Between 1959 and 1970, Mohan was a regular in the Second XI side, strengthening the middle order with team-mate William Oates.
