Keith McGrath

Keith McGrath is a fictional character in the RTE soap opera Fair City.

Keith arrived in Carrigstown as a new mechanic in the garage. He became great friends with Ray O'Connell and became instantly attracted to Niamh Cassidy. When Niamh makes it clear that she wants nothing to do with him, he starts a relationship with Una Norris.
However Keith soon got bored of her and started chasing Niamh again. Just as it looks like the two will get together, Una announces she's pregnant making Keith stay with her. Soon after, Una experiences a miscarraige leaving Keith to break up with her and start a relationship with Niamh in mid 2007.
In December that year, Niamh has to go to a business project in Wales and will spend the Christmas there. Wanting to spend Christmas with Keith, she invites him along with her but he doesnt want to go. Keith admits that he was once in the British Army and because he left with no reason, he wasnt allowed back in Great Britan. But they decide to sneak in the country by ferry. However, before they are due to go, they have a huge row and Keith storms off leaving Niamh to go on her own. Keith ends up having to spend Christmas with Ray. To Keiths shock, Ray invites Una around as well. Due to a lack of room, Keith and Una end up having to share a bed but they dont sleep together. When Niamh gets back to Ireland, Keith tells her of the sleeping arrangements of that night and she runs of to her mother, Gina, thinking that he was dumping her. But they manage to settle their differences eventually.
In March 2008, Keith starts to become bored of Niamh. She buys him an expensive blackberry phone but Keith starts to feel tied down by her. In an attempt to feel free, Keith sleeps with Una, then dumps Niamh. But as usual, the affair is found out and both Niamh and Una slap him.
However, Una soon warms to him again and the two start dating again.
