Keith Johnston

Keith Johnston is a Council member of the London-based Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR). Keith is currently the Director of Policy and Communications at the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. Born in a council house in Aberdeen on 13 December 1974, Keith studied history at Glasgow University and moved to London in 1997. He worked as a lobbyist for the lighting and housing sector and a voluntary assistant to English MP, Joan Walley. His interests include opera, poker and horse riding.

Keith was influential in balancing the interests of small finance centres with larger OECD-based finance centres through the report, Towards A Level Playing Field, and is also a member of the EU Expert Panel on the Savings Tax Directive.
