[edit] Candidacy for the 11th Congressional District Seat

Virginia's 11th district is currently represented by Republican Tom Davis. Davis, who has served since 1995, announced on January 30, 2008 that he would not seek reelection to an eighth term, allowing the chance for a viable Republican candidate to succeed him. Fimian announced his candidacy early in the year, and according to the Washington Post, has raised over $700,000 as of February 2008.[1]

[edit] Presidency of the Youth Leadership Foundation

In addition to being Chairman of U.S. Inspect, Fimian is the President of the Youth Leadership Foundation, a leadership and character-building program that serves children in inner-city Washington, D.C. The program possesses a wide command of support from many leaders, including Senate Sergeant at Arms Terrance Gainer and former District Police Chief, Charles H. Ramsey.
