Keita Tachibana (橘慶太 Tachibana Keita?) (born December 16, 1985) is a Japanese musician. He is the lead singer of the J-Pop boy band w-inds. and is also very involved with their dance sequences.

Tachibana got his big break when he was the only male finalist in the 2000 Kyushu-Okinawa Starlight Audition, beating thousands of contestants, but did not win. He joined forces with two dancers from Sapporo, Ryuichi Ogata and Ryohei Chiba, to form w-inds.

In his spare time, he enjoys playing rounds of pool or soccer. Keita is also capable of playing various musical instruments; piano, guitar and bass guitar[citation needed].

He has an older brother, Yuta, and two younger sisters, Mai and Mio; Mio is currently a model and was part of the group Soran Happies.

Tachibana has now has his own solo career as well as being in a band. His debut single was released on the 18th October 2006, titled "Michishirube,". Although he is a solo artist now, he mentioned that w-inds. is a big part of him. w-inds. will not be disbanding.

His debut solo single, "Michishirube," debuted at #3 on the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart. His solo album made it to the #5 on the first week on Oricon Weekly Albums Chart; it is also the first ending theme to the anime Reborn!.

His second solo single, "Friend", features the first OP of the anime adaption, Blue Dragon.

He has a blog that won the "Blog of the Year 2006".(by Cyber Agent)[citation needed].

Tachibana has long been rumoured to be the boyfriend of one of Hello!Project's biggest solo idols, Matsuura Aya. In addition, he has also been romantically linked with BoA Kwon and Ai Otsuka.[citation needed].

In 2007, Tachibana voiced Prince Arthur (Artie) in the Japanese dubbed version of Shrek the Third.
