Keisen, Fukuoka

Keisen (桂川町 Keisen-machi?) is a town located in Kaho District, Fukuoka, Japan.

As of 2003, the town has an estimated population of 14,625 and a density of 728.70 persons per km². The total area is 20.07 km².

Keisen was home to Fukuoka POW Camp in 1944 during World War II. [1]

There are many Kofuns in Keisen, notably Ōzuka Kofun is designated as a special historic spot.
