Keiko Takemiya

Keiko Takemiya (竹宮 惠子 Takemiya Keiko?, born February 13, 1950) is a female manga artist. She is included in Year 24 group.

Among her most noted works is the manga Kaze to Ki no Uta, which was noted for being a pioneering shōjo series of the 1970s and 1980s, and To Terra.... She received the 1979 Shogakukan Manga Award for shōnen/shōjo manga for both Kaze to Ki no Uta and To Terra...,[1] and the the prestigous Seiun Award for science fiction manga in 1978 for To Terra....
