The 1000 series (京王電鉄1000系電車 Keiō 1000 kei densha) is an EMU which operates on the Keio Corporation. 15 trainsets with 5 cars each were purchased.

The 1000 series were built by Tokyu Car Corp (except 1706F and 1708F, which were built by Hitachi, Ltd), and were introduced into service on 1995. It is the first time for 33 years new rolling stock was introduced, since 3000 series of 1962. It is the first series of Inokashira Line featuring 20 m 4 doors car.

After 1711F which made in 2003, the system and inside are changed.

"T" shape one handle master-controller system. Speedometer is 140km/h indication by analog. It features a TNS (Train Navigation System) and dead man system.
