Keg O'War was a comic series started in 1990 featuring the stories of a young man and the robot he built one day out of an empty beer keg.

Written by "PWalk" the story started off with the young man sitting in a bar one evening doodling on a napkin a keog of beer with arms and legs on it. He thought it was a pretty neat looking little robot and thusly went home to design and later build a robot out of an old keg he had.

The series ran in many underground independent music fanzines of the early 90's Mostly the New York, Philadelphia, and Baltimore based publications would run the comic which had built a fairly decent cult following before suddenly ceasing to exist in 1995. Since then mentions of the robot have been found in video games such as Phantasy Star Online where the series creator apparently created a character based on the old comic series and began to play him as such. With the catch phrase "Beer Muscles, Activate!" and "Lager, Ale, Whatever." the Keg O'War was renewed via the game.

There have been talks of a new series being published solely online. In 2005 the series creator PWalk was quoted as stating he would republish the entire first series online to share. To the present they have not turned up.

From May 2007 running to the end of the 07' calendar year Keg O'War returned as an online only comic detailing new adventures. 25 four panel comics were run in total continuing a storyline for the year. Written by an unknown author it was illustrated by the original artist of the first series.
